Once I was in a market in Merrakech, there was a slotted roof over the stands that created a still version of one of my favourite experiences. As the sun passed through, segmented into streams of lit dust it reminded me of riding my bicycle past a fence that stood between me and the sun. The light would hit my eyelids like a projector flipping through the end of a film, rolling over and over. The flickering light pairs with the memory of warm sun on my face and breeze in my tangled hair, in this work I find my old self again.
